Doctor Who Proms - Thank You For The Music

Updated: Jan 27

So I went to the Royal Albert Hall!! So all I can say is - Doctor Who Proms, thank you for the music!

My amazing wife and kids got me tickets for fathers day and I can honestly say I couldn't of wished for a better present. What a lucky boy I am!!

The TARDIS on the stage at the Royal Albert Hall. Blue tint to the air, full crowd.

I just wanted to say that I felt so privileged to be able to watch and listen to the magical music of Doctor Who in such an amazing venue. I have never been to the Royal Albert Hall before, and wow, it's an impressive place!!

Catherine Tate was amazing, although I guess that's a given really. She always comes across as someone you'd love to hang out with!

Straight from the off I was in heaven. The Doctors Theme with Fifteen was the mash up I never knew I needed! Stunning!!!

That was a highlight for me, but others were hearing the end to Dot and Bubble got the hairs on the neck standing up, all the companion themes (feeling the excitement of the audience when Rose's theme came on), hearing 11 and 12's themes and the joy of a certain twist at the end. So basically, all of it.

Everyone got a chance to shine which also reminded how good some of the pieces were in Jodie's era.

I hope we see this again and Doctor Who will be back at the proms next year. I will keep my fingers crossed that some of the people who weren't lucky enough to go this year will get a chance to experience it in 2025. It would also be cool to see more children there.

Anyway, a full house, amazing atmosphere, beautiful music - the best show in the Universe!

Thank you!! 💙💙
